Where image meets identity and food becomes a means of dialogue. A journey of inclusion that explores virtual identities, the body, food, and cultures, encouraging us to look beyond appearances and embrace diversity in all its forms.
Inclusion is not an image to pursue, but a space to be built together—one in which every person can feel recognised, valued, and welcomed for who they truly are.
We live in a time when the gaze of others—whether real or virtual—often seems to define our worth. Mirrors, screens, and images constantly present models to emulate, standards to achieve, and expectations to fulfil. In this context, the body becomes a measure, a judgement, and a point of comparison.
But what happens when the mirror reflects not who we truly are, but who we believe we ought to be—or simply the way we see ourselves?

Scope
Eating disorders are among the most complex and painful manifestations of inner conflict. They affect both girls and boys, often in silence, reflecting a profound desire to be accepted, recognised, and considered worthy.
Inclusion, therefore, becomes the ability to look beyond the mirror, beyond the fear of not being enough or not measuring up. It means recognising the person before the image, listening before judging, and understanding before defining.
How to partecipate
The competition is open to Italian and European upper secondary schools.
Schools wishing to take part must send an email to the Lions Club Brescia
Uniti per Fare by 30 November 2026, including the statement:
“WE INTEND TO PARTICIPATE”
Participation is free of charge.
Each school may enter multiple categories and submit more than one entry.
